Paralysed persons cannot turn themselves in bed. Asking Bernard to turn me around, every two hours is too cruel, so we bought an electric bed that can lift the head up, and I got used to sleep on my back, in a semi-sitting position. As I can fall on one side or the other, I have plenty of cushions to prop me up, and to make it comfortable, I have a sort of pillow under my knees.
