They are words of one, two or three syllables. I try to put the first letters of the two or three syllables, and for words of one syllable, the first and the last letter, but it is not always possible, so I try to take advantage of groups of two or three letters I have on my writing panel. Sometimes I have to inverse letters, like for “access”, which abbreviation is “cc-a”.
